Almost Done!

Well I have just one more class left of my junior year... then finals begin. I can't believe how quickly times flies by! I feel like I just moved in to my dorm the other day!! Also, y younger sister just turned 18 yesterday.... It's hard to believe she's a legal "adult." It makes me feel old. hahaha
I had a job interview this past week for a summer job here on campus.. I hope I get it. It went pretty well, as well as it could have I guess. hahaha

Just 2 more weeks!

Just two more weeks til the semester is over! It's hard to believe! I'm so excited for summer.... I have a job interview for a summer job in the development office here on campus. I really hope that I get it. That means that I can live on campus for the summer, which is what I really want to do.

This past weekend was really great. I went to Springfest and then to Lock-In. I hung out with some girls from dance team on Saturday night and then on Sunday I went to a Save Darfur Rally. It was against genocide. The rally was good, very moving. There were a bunch of people that have survived genocide in places like Rwanda and Darfur.. Here are a few pictures from the rally..

Now it's the last week of classes... then finals.... ahhh!

Back Into the Swing of Things

Wellll today was the first day back from Easter Break. It was pretty good, except for it felt weird cause we were on a Monday schedule although it's Tuesday.
Anyways break was good... I got some work done, sort of. haha... Easter was really nice. I got to spend the day with my family so that was great. I also shot a rifle for the very first time!! My friends dad taught me how. I was aiming at a yogurt cup that was about 30 yards away and I shot it, so that was very exciting!! hahahaha. It was definitly something that I don't do everyday.
I can't believe that there are only a few weeks left of school, this year has flown by! I can't wait for summertime and warm weather :)

Almost Easter Break! :)

So right after this class my Easter Break will start! I'm very excited to go home, but unfortunately I will have work to do.. surprise, surprise. haha It will be nice to just have a little break before I come back and have finals to deal with... ahhhhh

Hi!

Hey again everyone! Well another week has started and I wish it was already the weekend....again. hahahah... This weekend was great. A friend from home came to visit and we went to Georgetown on Friday night. On Saturday it was Special Olympics. Every year for dance team we perform and help out. It's so much fun and everyone has a great time. It's definitly one of my favorite events of the year.
Unfortunately, we were having a team meeting and missed our performance time. But, luckily, we got to perform at another time during the day instead, so it all worked out. :)
So far this week has been alright... didn't feel too well today though, so I skipped class, it was nice. I slept. hahahahha.. Hopefully I'll feel better soon! Later!

Haven't blogged in a while..

Well it's been a while since I last blogged.... the past few weeks have been good. Just getting through the semester.. this past weekend my mom and aunt came and saw me dance in the dance teams showcase. It was alot of fun :) I messed up a few times..but hopefully it went unnoticed. haha. After the showcase I went out to eat with my mom and aunt and a few friends, so that was really nice.

This weekend I just relaxed and hung out. This was one of the first weekends where I actually didn't have anything to do. So it was nice. Now, I'm looking forward to this weekend... and this week has barely even started.. hahaha..

Back To Classes Part II

Wellllll as I said before, I'm back to classes... Spring Break was great! It was started off with me and my friend Christine having a mini-road trip down to Richmond. I dropped her off there to meet a friend and then headed to Newport News, VA to visit my two best friends from home (Alex and Emily). They go to Christopher Newport University. Of course, since CNU is near the beach I figured it would be a little bit warmer.. but the first few days I was there it was FREEZING and raining.......but that didn't stop us from having fun!!

Friday night me and Alex went to her sorority sisters birthday party. It was so much fun! Her sisters are all really nice. Then the next night we went to a country western bar, it was called The Banque. I had never been to a bar like that before so I had no idea what to expect... but it was so much fun! I loved it! Just a warning.. if you don't like country music, don't go to a country western bar.. haha.. Anyways, we were there for a while and I line danced! It was really fun, a little confusing though.. haha, but I caught on eventually. Here are a few pictures from that night...

That was a really fun night! We had an awesome time! I had planned to leave that Sunday, but it SNOWED and the roads were pretty bad, so I stayed until Tuesday. It was really weird because apparently it had not snowed in Newport News for a few years... So I guess I brought the snow with me! hahaha... On Tuesday I headed home and spent the next few days of break there. It was good to be home and relax and eat real food. hahaha.. Then this past Sunday I came back to school.. That's about it for now! :)
